If the thought of homeschooling makes you a bit jittery, you’re not alone, friend! I used to say, ‘I’d never do it,’ but here we are, fully committed for the long haul. We kicked things off with a pre-school year, diving into learning through crafts (my daughter’s absolute favorite) and tons of enjoyable games. Check out my list below for some of our top picks!
I have listed all of favorite products to have on hand and in our cart when teaching Preschool and Kindergarten LINKED HERE.
Our HOMESCHOOL CART itself is the best one I have ever seen. It rolls beautiful and it’s so roomie that you will have more than enough space for all of your first year goodies.
As far as curriculum goes, I have a whole post about my favorite curriculum and why HERE but honestly, Preschool can be done completely free and using a few Pinterest printables, playing games and lots of read out louds.
If you’re considering homeschool or are currently, I would LOVE to hear from you. Please leave a comment down below with any advice, wisdom or questions! I am a newbie but in it for the long haul – excited to see what this looks like in a few years!
don’t regret it for a moment. While it’s not always easy, witnessing my children’s growth and development firsthand, both academically and personally, has been incredibly rewarding. Homeschooling allows us to tailor our approach to their individual needs and interests, fostering a love for learning that extends far beyond textbooks. Moreover, it affords us invaluable flexibility and quality time together as a family. The journey has its challenges, but the joy and sense of fulfillment it brings far outweigh any difficulties. I’m grateful for the opportunity to play such an active role in my children’s education and upbringing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
