Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Medium Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Measuring Cups
  • Bread Loaf Pan

Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour I use Einkorn All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp instant Yeast
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • cup warm milk I use raw milk, whole milk would work
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • tsp salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl mix flour, yeast and salt. Then in a smaller bowl combine honey, warm milk (no more than 100℉ or it will kill the yeast) and melted butter.
  • Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients with a spatula, as the dough will be very sticky. Make sure the flour is fully combined.
  • Shape the dough into a ball with the spatula by scraping down the sides and cover with plastic wrap or lid. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  • During the first rise grease up a loaf pan, I like to use butter.
  • Take the dough out of the bowl, after one hour. Wet your hand so the dough doesn't stick and shape it into a loaf. Place it in your greased up loaf pan and cover it with plastic wrap.
  • Let the dough rise for 90 minutes or until one and half the original size.
  • Preheat over to 350℉ and bake for 30-35 minutes.
