My go-to Waffle Recipe

Einkorn Waffle Recipe
This is my go to recipe in the mornings! I typically make a giant batch (double it) and eat for a few days or freeze and take out as needed. They’re delicious and so fluffy, my girls go crazy for them!

The BEST Homemade Waffles

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Servings 4 Waffles

Ingredients

  • cup all-purpose flour I used Einkorn All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1 cup milk I use raw cow milk but, any will work

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a large bowl and using a whisk mix all together until well combined.
  • If using Einkorn, let the dough sit for 10 minutes since this type of flour takes longer to absorb liquids. If using regular white flour your mixture will be less liquid.
  • Using ladle, scoop into preheated waffle maker or if using a pan, you can make them into pancakes too!
  • When waffles are cool, serve with organic maple syrup and we love adding blueberries to the top!

On Instagram I think I saw you say you add that ABC protein to your waffles. Do you reduce the flour at all when you add protein? I’m going to experiment this morning but wondering what you do! Thanks!

  2. Nicole says:

Just made these for the family and my kids (who are suuuuper picky) loved them. I swapped in 1 scoop of lineage provisions protein powder and reduced the flour by 1/4 cup and it was perfect! We of course served it with raw whipped cream bc weekend waffles with whipped cream is a thing in our house 😂 totally recommend!

My son is allergic to eggs, do you think a “flax” egg will yield the same results?

  4. Sam says:

Does the 1/4 maple syrup go into mixture? Or is that for topping after made I assume?
